Pakistan Gold Reserve: Pakistan’s National Resources Limited (NRL) has confirmed the founding of a huge gold-stores in Chagai district of Balochistan. In the last 18 months, the company discovered at 500 sq km, identifying 16 possible mining sites. This region has been famous for mines like RECO Dick and Sainik earlier. However, now the new discovery has attracted global investors. This will help in strengthening the economic condition of the region.
Reco Dick Khan is one of the world’s largest projects. The project has been launched in Chagai, Balochistan. According to the new discovery, the company got 5.9 billion tonnes. Its estimated value is being charged from $ 500 billion to $ 1 trillion. It is full of gold and copper that it can be removed for a full 50 years.

According to the report of National Resources Limited (NRL), 15,800 tonnes of copper, 1.47 tonnes of gold and 2.76 tonnes of silver can be extracted from the mines every year. Its value can be between 50 to 100 billion.

Rich in resources, but backward in development
While Balochistan is full of minerals, this province is still counted among the poorest and separation parts of Pakistan. There are many reasons for this, which are the following.
Local people allege that other provinces take advantage of mineral wealth.

-The facilities like health, education and water are negligible.
