Pak Army spokesman Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary has again opened the poll of Pakistan’s antics. He has said, “In any future struggle, we will start with East (boundary of Bangladesh). This indication indicates not only a military idea but a potential geopolitical alliance.”
New equation in Bangladesh
Bangladesh’s new Yunus government’s soft attitude towards Pakistan and rigorous attitude towards India is also becoming a matter of concern for the country. According to reports, Mohammad Yunus has re -activated the old relations with Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI. This cooperation can affect not only diplomatic, but also intelligence, cyber and border security. If Bangladesh starts becoming a platform for Pakistani activities, India will have to make a security strategy on a double front, one in the west and the other on the Bangladesh border in the east.
Asim Munir is getting support from Trump
Former US President Donald Trump’s inclination towards Pakistan and the recent stance towards India has given a new confidence to the Pakistan Army on the international stage. With the support of Trump, Asim Munir has a diplomatic cover, military confidence and support in the United Nations and international forums. Munir has tried hard to increase strategic dialogue with both China and America in recent months.
Challenge for India
For India, this situation is also worrying because it is now struggling with the possibility of danger not only on the western border, but also from the friendly nations like Bangladesh. If the Unus government of Dhaka comes under the influence of the Pakistani Army and promotes anti -India activities, it will directly affect the security of the northeastern states, the border districts of Assam and Bengal, and inner peace.
