Former India cricketer Murali Karthik has lashed out at the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). In fact, before Pakistan vs UAE Match, PCB had stopped his team from going to the stadium. Murali Karthik has used the word ‘drama’ for this incident. The PCB had threatened to leave the Asia Cup in the middle. The match was about to begin, but Pakistan did not leave for Dubai International Cricket Stadium from the team hotel. For this reason, the match started an hour late.

In a conversation with Cricbuzz, former cricketer Murali Karthik lashed out at the Pakistan Cricket Board and said that if he had to take a stand, he should have been adamant. Karthik said, “If you have any opinion, then show it adamant. Just because you are seeing a loss of $ 16 million, I am not able to think anything. Nowadays even young children do not do such action. It is ridiculous that you are targeting many people without any argument. There is no reason or reasoning in this.”

PCB was not happy with not removing Andy Picroft even after the handshake controversy after the India-Pakistan match. After the match against Pakistan, Indian players did not join hands with the Pak team. Captain Suryakumar Yadav had said that he had done this in honor of the martyred soldiers and the dead in the Pahalgam terror attack.

The PCB had lodged a complaint against Andy Picroft at the ICC, but was rejected by the International Cricket Council. The PCB also threatened to leave the Asia Cup in the middle in that complaint.
