Pakistan Earthquake: Three shocks of a light -intensity earthquake were felt late on Sunday (May 1) in Karachi city of Sindh province, Pakistan. So far there is no information of any kind of major loss or loss of life due to earthquake. Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said that the first blow of the 3.2 magnitude earthquake came to Gadap city in Karachi at 1:05 pm on Sunday.
Many tremors of earthquake were felt in Pakistan
Sarfaraz Khan, a PMD official, said that the second setback of the earthquake was also felt late in this area, whose intensity was recorded at 3.6. The third blow came in the densely populated Qawabad area of Karachi, which was recorded at 3.2. Experts said that such low -intensity seismic activities occurred due to the collision of tectonic plates.
Earthquake occurred in Pakistan for the past one month
During the last one month, earthquake tremors have been felt in Pakistan several times. On Friday (May 30), an earthquake tremors were felt in Pakistan at 1:37 pm. On Tuesday (May 27), at 7:30 pm, there was an earthquake of 4.2 magnitude on the Richter scale in the Faisalabad division of Pakistan. On May 12, a 4.9 magnitude earthquake occurred in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan.
On May 5, earthquake tremors were felt in Pakistan, causing panic among the people. The earthquake came around 4:00 pm, the intensity of which was measured at 4.2 on the Richter scale. The depth of the earthquake was recorded at 10 km.
Earthquake tremors felt in Tibet
Earthquake tremors were felt in the neighboring country of Tibet on Friday (30 May 2025). However, there is no news of any kind of damage from it. The earthquake came at 9.27 minutes and 27 seconds Indian time. Its intensity on the Richter scale was measured at 4.2. The earthquake occurred after an earthquake of 5.7 magnitude in the same area on 12 May.
