When AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi lashed Pakistan, former Pakistan High Commissioner Abdul Basit has suffered a lot. He says that he is quite surprised by Owaisi’s statement, which till now accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government of fighting Hindus and Muslims, now suddenly he changed his position.
Abdul Basit says that Owaisi is in pressure, so they are making such statements. He also alleges that the terrorist attack in Pahalgam includes the deep state of India as he wanted to divert attention from the ruckus in the country about the Waqf Amendment Act.
Owaisi also mentioned the Pahalgam attack during the public meeting on the Waqf Amendment Act in Parbhani, Maharashtra and raised Pakistan a lot. He said that Pakistan is half an hour behind India and it is half a century behind India, its military budget is not even equal to India. Abdul Basit was enraged at Owaisi’s statement and said, ‘I was very surprised to hear that he has been ruled by many years, since the BJP has been ruled, Owaisi says that the BJP’s rule wants to fight Hindus and Muslims, so the kind of things are revealed. Sometimes triple talaq, sometimes uniform civil code, sometimes Waqf Amendment Act comes.
Abdul Basit said that all the statements of Owaisi were that BJP is fighting Hindus and Muslims among themselves. After Pahalgam’s speech, he immediately shifted the talk to the other side. This is beyond my understanding. He said, ‘On one hand, Owaisi is blaming the BJP and saying that the entire philosophy of Hindutva wants to divide Muslims and Hindus. The same is objective of BJP and RSS. In a hurry, Owaisi has changed the attitude of the entire politics in a single day.
Abdul Basit has also accused India of joining the Deep State in the Pahalgam attack. He says that if India really has evidence, then it should share it in front of the world and expose Pakistan. What is this that the so -called evidence is kept with him and is trying to make it a narrative on it, whose victim Asaduddin Owaisi has also become.
Abdul Basit said, ‘What should I say to Owaisi sir. Very soon he got into pressure. It would have been fun to talk at least some objectively, but it seems that he is also in a lot of pressure and at this time all the Muslims are in pressure. Waqf amendments were trying to protest on the law that has come. Actually, what is the work of Deep State of India that they have brought Muslims on defensive. Now we do not see protests anywhere.
He further said that Vish You All the Best Asaduddin Owaisi Sahab. At least you did not expect that the politics you are doing for the last 10 years, it will change in this way. I am very surprised.
