‘Pakistan is calling its death by commenting on Ram Mandir’, this leader reminded Asim Munir-Shahbaz of their status

Congress leader Surendra Rajput has strongly attacked the statement of Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry regarding the flag hoisting of Ayodhya Ram temple. He said that Pakistan should remain within its limits because India will not tolerate any interference in its internal affairs.

Taking aim at Pakistan’s government and Army Chief Asim Munir, Rajput said, ‘India is a strong democracy and our Constitution is stable, which does not change every 8-10 years as it happens in Pakistan.’ He further said that India is capable of solving its own issues and this comment by Pakistan is ‘like calling its own death’. Rajput claimed that Pakistan is on the verge of disintegration very soon and it should improve its situation instead of commenting on India.

What did Pakistan say?
Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry had said that Pakistan has taken the construction of Ram temple and flag hoisting at Babri Masjid in Ayodhya with concern and seriousness. Irrespective of the decision of the Supreme Court of India, Pakistan’s Foreign Department has said that Babri Masjid was a centuries-old historical place of worship. After this Pakistan mentioned the incident of 6 December 1992. Pakistan has spread propaganda saying that India’s system discriminates against minorities. The government of Pakistan, where the historical and mythological heritage of Hindus is gathering dust, said that efforts are being made to erase the Muslim heritage in India under the ideology of Hindutva.

Foreign Ministry had also rejected Pakistan’s statement
The External Affairs Ministry on Wednesday rejected Pakistan’s criticism of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s flag hoisting at the peak of Ram temple in Ayodhya and said there is no moral basis for preaching to others about a neighboring country with a record of ‘bigotry’ and ‘repression’ towards minorities.

Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, ‘We have seen the alleged comments and completely reject them. This is a country whose record is tainted with bigotry, repression and institutional and policy abuses towards minorities. He said, ‘Pakistan has no moral basis to preach to others. Instead of giving hypocritical sermons, Pakistan should look inward and focus on its poor human rights record. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday hoisted the ‘Dharma Dhwaja’ on the peak of the Ram temple on the completion of the construction of the temple.
