‘Pakistan is not ashamed because it is ashamed…’, how PAK was made fun of in Oxford University? Video of debate goes viral

Veeransh Bhanushali, an Indian student of Oxford University, has made a scathing attack on Pakistan in the Oxford Union Debate. Veeransh said that Pakistan cannot be embarrassed because ‘it has nothing to do with shame’. This speech of his is becoming very viral on social media, on which lakhs of views have been received.

India’s policy related to real danger

The topic of the debate held at Oxford University was ‘Is India’s Pakistan policy just a populist pretense or a real security policy’. Speaking in this, Veeransh said that India’s policy is related to the real threat and not for votes. He told that his aunt and friend’s family were in danger in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. On Pakistan, he said, ‘We have learned from the bitter truth that how will we embarrass a country which has no shame?’

Pakistan gives circus to its people

Veeransh mentioned Pulwama, Uri, Pathankot and the recent Pahalgam attack. Making fun of Pakistan, he said, ‘When India fights a war, it debriefs the pilots, in Pakistan they autotune the chorus. If we can’t give people bread, we give them circus.
Veeransh finally gave instructions to Pakistan and said, ‘If you want to be a peaceful neighbor then stop terrorism, otherwise India will remain alert.’

Veeransh is an alumnus of NES International School, Mumbai. He is currently studying law at Oxford University. Veeransh is also the Principal and Chief of Staff of Oxford Union. Apart from this, he has also done internship in the Solicitor General Office of India.

How did Veeransh’s video go viral?

Veeransh spoke from his life experiences and directly challenged Pakistan’s terrorism. People praised it as a strong stand of India. The debate took place on 27 November 2025, which was just after the anniversary of 26/11. This debate was a part of the debate on India-Pakistan relations and Veeransh’s speech was very impressive.
