On the advice of security agencies, the DM of Jaisalmer has completely banned the use of Pakistani SIM in the district.

District Collector Pratap Singh has issued orders to ban Pakistani SIM. He has given an ultimatum of strict action for not following the order. In a statement issued by the district administration, there is a possibility of threat to national security on the network from Pakistani tower. In view of this, the use of Pakistani SIM has been completely banned.
