India striks in pakistan: In response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April, the Indian armed forces attacked strongly under Operation Sindoor in Pakistan and POK on Wednesday (May 7). DG ISPR further said in its statement that in the action taken by India, Pakistan’s Sapphire-Jhelum hydropower project has been targeted. He said that according to Article 54 of the Additional Protocol-1 of the 1977 Geneva Convention, it has been completely banned from attacking, destroying, removing or spoiling the objects necessary for the discharge of common citizens. Which includes drinking water supply or installation and agricultural works.
Apart from this, he also said that according to Article 56 of the same protocol, structures with any dangerous force, which cannot be attacked by dams, dikes and nuclear -operated electric stations, even if they are to achieve a military target. Because such attacks can be released dangerous force and which can have a serious impact on the lives of ordinary citizens.

DG ISPR said that violation of firing and ceasefire without provocation on Loc on Loc continues. The Pakistan Army is responding in the same manner. He said that the enemy has suffered heavy losses due to the retaliation of the Pakistan Army and its checkpost has been destroyed.
31 Pakistanis lost their lives in Indian Army attack
DG ISPR also mentioned in its statement that 31 common citizens of Pakistan were killed and 57 people were injured in the attack by the Indian Army. He said that the death toll has increased due to continuous firing and ceasefire violations of the Indian Army.
