On August 14, Pakistan is celebrating its 79th Independence Day, but even on this national occasion, the leaders there did not desist from anti-India statements. Instead of discussing the country’s economic plight, inflation and people’s problems, Pakistan Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar once again claimed the raga of Kashmir and claimed a false victory in the recent India-Pakistan struggle.

Ishaq Dar said in his speech that Pakistan performed brilliantly on both military and diplomatic fronts in Marka-e-Haq and gave a strong reply to India’s actions. Describing the Kashmir issue as justified, he claimed that Pakistan’s support would continue till the Kashmiris get justice. However, before this, many other leaders from Pakistan military officers have made statements many times.

Defeat in Operation Sindoor
The reality is that in Operation Sindoor, Pakistan suffered heavy losses at military and strategic levels. In response to the Pahalgam attack, India airs the exact missile at terrorist bases located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Many airbase of Pakistan, including Noor Khan, Rafiki, Murid, Sukkur, Chunion and Rahayayar Khan, suffered a lot of serious damage. Many F-16 fighter jets and other military resources were destroyed. Pakistan’s DGMO contacted India directly and requested to stop the operation, after which the ceasefire was announced.

Trying to trick the public
Pakistan’s top leaders and military officials often resort to India and Kashmir issues to divert attention from domestic problems. Ishaq Dar’s Independence Day speech was also a part of this pattern, in which no concrete discussion was held on real economic crisis, inflation and internal security challenges.
