Pakistan is on the verge of defeat in the second test being played in Rawalpindi. By the end of the third day’s play, Pakistan had lost 4 wickets after scoring 94 runs. In the second innings, Pakistan team’s lead was only 23 runs. Babar Azam remains a ray of hope for the Pakistan team, who has scored 49 runs. South Africa increased its score to 185/4 on the third day. Kyle Varenin was out after scoring 10 runs in the very first over of the third day. Pakistan team could have taken a small lead in the first innings by taking the tenth wicket of South Africa, but for the 10th wicket, Kagiso Rabada and Senuran Muthuswamy made the Pakistani bowlers cry by making a partnership of 98 runs. While the Pakistan team was dreaming of gaining the lead, Rabada played an inning of 71 runs while batting at number 11. This was Rabada’s first half-century innings in international cricket.

When the Pakistan team came to bat in the second innings, off-spinner Simon Harmer wove such a web of spin that the top-order of the Pakistan team had returned to the pavilion by the score of 16. Babar Azam and Saud Shakeel together added 44 runs, but Shakeel also got out after scoring 11 runs.
Now the Pakistan team has hope from Babar Azam, who has scored 49 runs till the end of the third day’s play. Let us tell you that Babar has not scored a century in the last 75 innings. Pakistan’s lead in the second innings is only 23 runs, so if set batsman Babar Azam can score big, Pakistan can come back in the match. After Babar and Rizwan, Salman Aga is the only batsman left.
