Pahalgam terror attack: Two songs of Pakistani actor Fawad Khan’s upcoming Hindi film ‘Abir Gulal’ have been removed from YouTube. Fawad’s upcoming film ‘Abir Gulal’ has come into controversy after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. There is also Vani Kapoor in this film. On Tuesday, April 22, militants opened fire in Basaron Valley near Tourist Spot Pahalgam in South Kashmir, killing 26 people. Most of them were tourists.

Song removed from YouTube

The official video of the film’s first song ‘Khodya Ishq’ is no longer available to watch on YouTube given the controversy after the terrorist attack. This romantic song is sung by Arijit Singh and Shilpa Rao which was released on social media on 14 April.


The second song, ‘English Rangarasia’ was released on 18 April. This song is also not available on YouTube. Although shared by other users, small clips of the song are still present on the social media platform.


The film ‘Abir Gulal’ has been made by Indian Stories Production and Raje Pictures by the film ‘Abir Gulal’. Vivek B Agarwal, Avantika Hari and Rakesh Sippy are producers of the film. Film makers and Saregama were not available for comments.

Film release banned

Government sources said Thursday that the film will not be allowed to be released in theaters. The decision has been taken amid the increasing demand to ban the film, which was to be premiered in Indian cinemas on May 9.

FWICE strict instructions

On Wednesday, the ‘Federation of Western India Cine Employees’ (FWICE) also repeated its instructions to ban Pakistani artists. FWICE said in a statement, “FWICE is once again obliged to boost all Pakistani artists, singers and technicians participating in any Indian film or entertainment project in view of the recent attack in Pahalgam. This includes performance or cooperation anywhere in the world.
