China supported Pakistan
China has advocated a fair investigation by supporting the demand from Pakistan regarding the Pahalgam terror attack. There is a continuous argument by Pakistan about this. He is demanding that it should investigate it, not an Indo-Pak but as a third party. On 22 April 2025, 26 unarmed people were killed in a terrorist attack in Basaron Valley of Pahalgam.
According to the Global Times, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has supported Pakistan Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar on the phone on Sunday. According to the report, China is closely monitoring the tension situation between Pakistan and India after the terrorist attack in the Kashmir region and supports the early start of a fair investigation. He hopes that both sides will be restrained, move towards each other and work to reduce stress.

Wang said that fighting terrorism is a common responsibility of all countries and China continuously supports Pakistan’s anti -terrorism action. He said that China fully understands the legitimate security concerns of Pakistan as a strong friend and strategic ally partner in every season, and supports its efforts to maintain its sovereignty and security interests.
Dar praised China’s constant and unwavering support and referred to Pakistan’s commitment in strengthening bilateral cooperation in all fields. This support from China came after Shahbaz Sharif’s statement in which he demanded an ‘independent investigation’ or fair investigation into the Pahalgam terror attack. US President Donald Trump has already said that it is a case between the two countries and he does not intend to intervene in the matter.
