Pakistani flight turbulence: An aircraft going from Karachi to Lahore got stuck in a sand storm in the middle air on May 24, 2025, after which it survived the accident. There was a huge upheaval inside the aircraft while trying to land at Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore. The video of this incident has gone viral on social media.

According to the report of Gulf News, the aircraft was of private airline fly Jinnah. While trying to land in Lahore, it got stuck in strong winds, which reduced its visibility and turned up in the aircraft. Air traffic control asked the flight pilot going from Karachi to stop landing efforts. The pilot was forced to return to Karachi.

What in viral video on social media?

The footage shared online shows how the passengers of flight FL-842 got nervous and got under stress after the aircraft got caught in the sand storm. Some people were standing in their seats, while some people were seen praying. ARY News said that another flight from Islamabad to Lahore was also diverted towards Karachi due to bad weather.


Nervous passengers told- the most scary time was

Gulf News quoted a passenger as saying, “At first the landing looked normal but as soon as the wheel landed on the ground, a powerful sandy storm caught the aircraft. In a few seconds we were again in the air. The next 10 to 12 minutes were the most scary minutes of my life. The aircraft was violently bouncing, the visibility was bouncing and we seemed that we were stuck in some chakra.
