Today, on Friday (January 30, 2026), a loud demonstration was held against the district administration under the leadership of Pallavi Patel, National President of Apna Dal (Kameravadi) and MLA from Sirathu seat, in Gandhi Park, Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Hundreds of workers of Kurmi community and Bharatiya Kisan Union were present in the dharna organized in Gandhi Park.
During this, MLA Pallavi Patel while addressing the Kurmi community said that unless the society is united, it will not get rights and chair.
Along with this, MLA Pallavi Patel also accused the administration of taking unilateral action. Actually this whole matter is related to Shivkumar Verma of Tarun police station area. A few days ago, there was an incident of assault with Shivkumar Verma, after which hundreds of people surrounded the police station and staged a protest. In this case, the police registered a case against 95 people, including the names of mafia and history-sheeter Dilip Verma.
No action will be taken against any innocent person – Police
A protest was held in Gandhi Park today demanding withdrawal of these cases. During the protest, Pallavi Patel sat on strike, due to which the atmosphere became more heated. SP Rural Balwant Chaudhary, who reached the information, talked to the protesters and assured that no action will be taken against any innocent person.
51 criminal cases are registered against Dilip Verma
According to police records, 51 criminal cases are registered against Dilip Verma. It is also discussed that Dilip Verma’s funding is behind this event. However, this has not been officially confirmed by the administration.
