Pankaj Dheer is known for BR Chopra’s Mahabharata. He played the role of Karna in this serial. However, before this he was supposed to play the role of Arjun but he was removed from the serial.
While talking to Leharen Retro, Pankaj Dheer had told that BR Chopra had asked him to leave his office because he was not shaving his mustache for the role of Arjun. Pankaj had told that he was the first choice for the role of Arjun. But he did not shave his mustache so he was fired from this role.
When Pankaj was offered the role of Karna
Pankaj said, ‘When I auditioned, dialogue writers Masoom Raza, Bhring Tupkari and Pandit Narendra Sharma ji were in the panel. He thought that I was perfect for the role of Arjun.
