How did their story begin?
Supriya also told that she and Pankaj first met during a film project. Which was being made by director Sagar Sarhadi. When Supriya came to know that Pankaj Kapoor was a part of this film, she immediately agreed to work in this project. She thought that she would share the screen with Pankaj but later it was revealed that both their characters in the film had no connection with each other.

An incomplete film, which became the reason for love
The real closeness of both grew during the shooting of a film in Giddarbaha, Punjab. This film was never released but Supriya believes that perhaps that film was made only so that both of them could meet each other. During the same shooting, the conversation between the two increased and gradually friendship turned into love.

Pankaj Kapoor is not just a husband
Supriya Pathak considers Pankaj Kapoor not only as her husband but also as her guru. According to him, Pankaj taught him that acting is not just about speaking dialogues but one has to feel the character from within.
