Talking to Hollywood Reporter India, Pankaj Tripathi said, “After my father’s death, I went on an introspection journey. I did not sign a film for a year and I did not announce that I am taking a break.” He further said, “I took time out to work on myself and recover physically and mentally. So I have lost my weight. I exercise six days a week, three hours a day. I also trips, trips that I had been avoiding for a long time.”

Pankaj Tripathi will soon be seen in ‘Metro … In Dino’. This film is a sequel to the 2007 drama ‘Life … In a Metro’. Directed by Anurag Basu, the film stars Aditya Roy Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Fatima Sana Sheikh, Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta and Shashwat Chatterjee. The film will be released on the big screen on July 2, 2025.
