NEET student died in Patna on 11 January 2026. She was admitted in a private hospital. SIT is investigating this case but now Nitish government has requested the Center to investigate it by CBI. Amidst this recommendation, on Saturday (January 31, 2026), MP Pappu Yadav held a press conference in Purnia. Pappu Yadav has raised many questions.
Pappu Yadav’s claim – case of rape and murder
Addressing the press conference, he said that Nitish Kumar’s police has dented his good governance. The agencies of Bihar completely failed. From the very beginning, an attempt was made to cover up the investigation and protect the real culprits. He claimed that this is a case of rape and murder.
Pappu Yadav requested the opposition MPs to save the victim’s family. He said, “Bihar’s Deputy CM Vijay Sinha had also gone to meet the family. I have also spoken to him on the phone. He is standing with the victim’s family. I also want to urge him to save the family.”
‘To which leaders and officials did they supply girls…’
The MP said that the truth of the incident should come out. The culprits should be arrested. Making allegations, Pappu Yadav demanded that there should be an investigation to which leaders and officials Neelam Aggarwal, the operator of Shambhu Girls Hostel and Manish Ranjan, the building owner of the hostel, send money and to which leaders and officials Manish Ranjan supplies girls.
Let us tell you that the police are empty handed in the NEET student case. The police have not got any success. The family members are accusing the police of a cover-up. Meanwhile, a CBI inquiry has been recommended.
