The government has launched Market Access Support Scheme of ₹4,531 crore to strengthen Indian exporters in global markets.

Under this scheme, exporters will get financial and institutional support to participate in international trade fairs, exhibitions and buyer-seller meets.

This move comes at a time of increasing tariff pressure on Indian exports by the US, so that exporters can explore new markets and reduce dependency on any one geography.

This initiative is part of the ₹25,060 crore Export Promotion Mission. ₹500 crore has been earmarked for FY26. There is a special focus on MSMEs, 35% participation is mandatory, and small exporters with turnover up to ₹75 lakh will also get partial airfare support.

Overall, this scheme is a big step towards strengthening Indian exporters on the global stage.
