Patna metro fare: Just before the Bihar assembly elections, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar formally inaugurated the Patna Metro. Although this inauguration was to take place a long time ago, it was postponed due to delay due to incomplete work. Currently, this metro will run on a 4.3 km long route which connects three big stations: ISBT, Zero Mile and Bhootnath Road.

The fare of Patna Metro has been made very economical for daily passengers. The journey fare between two stations will start from ₹ 15 and while the maximum fare of the entire route is ₹ 30. That is, the fare from ISBT to Zero Mile will be ₹ 15 and the fare from New ISBT to Bhootnath metro station will be charged ₹ 30. On the other hand, if you talk about Delhi Metro, then it takes ₹ 11 for up to 2 kilometers and ₹ 20 for 2-5 kilometers.

Design inspired by Bihar’s culture

Patna Metro coaches are decorated with designs inspired by Madhubani, the painting style of Bihar. Passengers will get a cultural experience during their journey. Patna Metro can take 945 passengers and every coach has 138 seats and stands.

Passenger safety and convenience

Every coach of Patna Metro has 360 degree CCTV cameras, two emergency buttons and a microphone to talk directly to the metro driver in emergency. Along with this, CCTV footage is also sent to the control room in real time by pressing the panic button. Apart from this, mobile and laptop charging have been provided in every coach and there is also a provision of display board for continuous updates and announcements about the next station.

A red panic buttons have been installed near the doors to protect all the passengers. With this, Bihar will take over the security of special armed police metro. BSAP personnel will be deployed in the entire metro system so that the safety of passengers can be ensured. The onset of Patna Metro will reduce congestion in the city and residents will get better transport options. This transport option is quite modern and safe. Patna Metro will prove to be a major step in Bihar’s public transport facility.
