Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced its team for the 2025 Asia Cup. PCB has declared a 17 -member team for the Tri -Series played in UAE and the Asia Cup. Star batsman Babar Azam and ODI captain Mohammad Rizwan have not been included in this team. Salman Ali Aga has been declared captain in both events. He has been commanding the T20 team since the beginning of this year.
Babur and Rizwan did not get space
Former captain Babar Azam and wicketkeeper batsman and ODI captain Mohammad Rizwan have not been included in the UAE Tri Series and Asia Cup team. Many reports claimed that these two star players may return to the T20 team for the Asia Cup, but PCB has given a big blow to both.
