Villagers say that they have always supported Nitish Kumar considering him as their leader and had voted on his face even in the assembly elections.
Voted for Nitish government till 2030
The people of the village say that at the time of elections this slogan was given that they had voted for Nitish Kumar 25 to 30 times and on this trust they had voted, but now if he leaves the post of Chief Minister and goes to Rajya Sabha, it will be a betrayal of the public trust.
Villagers not ready to support BJP
Many villagers of Kalyan Bigha openly said that if Nitish Kumar goes to Rajya Sabha, they will not support BJP. The villagers allege that BJP itself has played political games with Nitish Kumar.
He says that an attempt has been made to weaken Nitish Kumar midway, due to which resentment has increased among the common supporters.

The villagers also said that if such a situation arises, they will not vote for BJP and if necessary, they will join the Rashtriya Janata Dal and help in forming the RJD government. He says that the people of this area have supported Nitish Kumar for years. Therefore, people would not accept his sudden visit to Rajya Sabha, but amid speculations, the growing resentment in the Chief Minister’s native village made this issue even more sensitive.
