Actress Mahima Chaudhary made her debut with the film ‘Pardes’. In this film, she was in the opposite role of Shahrukh Khan. The film was directed by Subhash Ghai. Now Mahima told that Subhash Ghai had scolded her a lot on the sets of the film.
While talking to Siddharth Kanan, he said, ‘I have felt negativity many times on the set. People often shouted loudly on the mic. He also used to abuse. This was nonsense. I remember someone was shouting like this, then the male actor asked me do you know that he is shouting at us indirectly. So I said yes. So he told me that my facial expressions are not such that you are understanding his indications. So you had to pretend that you were not understanding anything.
Mahima further said, ‘Now he doesn’t even have that courage because there are cameras everywhere and people will see his bad behavior in 30 seconds. But earlier there was a lot of bad behavior and negativity. There was also groupism. This started at the beginning of my second film.
When Subhash Ghai scolded Mahima
Apart from this, Mahima also recalled an incident that happened on the sets of the film Pardes. He said, ‘Once Subhash Ghai scolded him. Sometimes it helps you when someone scolds you. This happened during my first film. Subhash ji had scolded me badly once. At that time I was doing a phone scene, which everyone liked. He made me cry like this. I had to cry in the scene and if you are already crying then your voice becomes like that. So this was fantastic. It helped. It was different in the first film. But in the second film that I was talking about, it was not a good experience.
