In this way the net loss was 9.8%. The retention rate of Buddhism is only 78%, which makes it the weakest in maintaining followers.

The biggest benefit of nones people
People unrelated with religion (called Nones in English) are currently registering the biggest growth. Out of 100, 24.2% of the people left religion and became unrelated. 7.5% of the people left unrelatedness and joined some religion. There has been a total increase of 16.7%. It makes it clear that in today’s generation, the distance from faith and the trend of adopting religious freedom is increasing rapidly.

Stability in Muslim and Hinduism
In the world, where people of many religions are renouncing their basic religion, the rate of conversion in Islam and Hinduism is very low. The number of those who leave and adopt religion is almost equal. Socio-cultural strength and family commitment are considered to be the main reason behind this stability. The Pew Research Report explained the direct connection between Un Human Development Index (HDI) on conversion. In HDi 0.8 or more countries (eg America, Canada, Europe), 18% of adults left their childhood religion. Only 3% of people left religion in countries with a country with a country below 0.55 (such as Africa and parts of South Asia). This data shows that the higher education, income and freedom, the greater the possibility of conversion and unrelatedness.
