If you do a government job or work in a private sector, you will definitely have an account in Employee Provident Fund Organization (EPFO). If you also want to withdraw your PF money, then in the year 2025, EPFO has given some options for this. Let us tell you in this news that when and in what ways you can withdraw your PF account money.
Ways to withdraw PF money
There are two main ways to withdraw money from EPF-
Offline (by submitting the form)
Online (via UAN portal)
1. Offline method (by depositing physical form)
If you do not have a link on the portal of UAN (Universal Account Number), Aadhaar and bank details EPFO, then you have to fill the composite claim form and submit it.
Which form to fill?
Composite Claim Form (Aadhaar) – If your Aadhaar, bank account and UAN EPFO are verified on the portal, you can submit this form without the company’s attation.
Composite Claim Form (Non-Aadhaar)-If there are no Aadhaar/bank details links, then submit this form and submit it to the company. To download this form, you have to go to the EPFO official website.
2. Online method (from UAN portal)
If your UAN is activated and Aadhaar, PAN, bank details are verified, then you can remove PF online.
Online pf extract steps
Login on UAN portal-https://unifiedportal-mm.epfindia.gov.in
Check KYC – ‘Manage’> ‘KYC’ and go to see if Aadhaar, PAN and bank details are verified or not.
Fill the claim form – Click on ‘Online Services’> ‘Claim (Form 31, 19, 10C & 10D)’.
Verify the bank account – add your account number and do ‘verify’.
Choose claim type –
Full Settlement
Partial withdrawal
Pension withdrawal
Submit details and submit, upload scanned documents (if asked).
Note: If you have quit the job, then Exit Date can enter yourself (go to ‘Manage’> ‘Mark Exit’).
How to check the status of PF?
Login on the UAN portal.
Click on ‘Online Services’> ‘Track Claim Status’.
See the status by entering the reference number.
Now PF will be able to remove PF from ATM
The government is planning to bring EPF 3.0 by 2025, in which you will be able to withdraw money from your PF account with the help of ATM card. This facility will be launched soon. To get this card, you will need some important documents. These documents are- UAN number, Aadhaar card, PAN card, bank account details (IFSC code) and cancell check. This bean documents will be made to you even when you will try to withdraw PF money in an offline manner.
