Thursday (November 20, 2025) will be a historic day for Bihar. Nitish Kumar will take oath as Chief Minister for the 10th time.
The swearing-in ceremony will take place at Gandhi Maidan in Patna. The program is scheduled from 11.30 am. In this, PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah along with Chief Ministers of many states, Union Ministers etc. will participate.
Arrangements have been made for the stay of VIP guests at Hotel Maurya in Patna. This hotel is adjacent to Gandhi Maidan, so guests will not face any problem in going from here. Some guests can reach Gandhi Maidan directly.
VIP guests will enter from gate number one of Gandhi Maidan. If the program is fixed during the day itself, most of the guests will return. Arrangements for food and drink for those who will stay have been made at the Maurya Hotel itself. Bihari cuisine will be kept special in the food. There will be Litti-Chokha. Makhana kheer is arranged. The food will be completely vegetarian.
If PM Modi has to attend the program, he will reach Patna airport from Delhi. After this, they will directly reach Gandhi Maidan via helicopter from the airport.
Helipad has been constructed at Gandhi Maidan. This decision has been taken keeping in mind the convenience of the crowd coming for the swearing-in ceremony.
A large number of women are likely to come from different districts of the state. About two to three lakh people will gather. If the Prime Minister had gone to Gandhi Maidan by road from Patna Airport, traffic would have had to be disrupted.
NDA legislature party meeting was held on Thursday and Nitish Kumar was elected the leader. BJP legislature party leader Samrat Chaudhary has been selected. Deputy leader Vijay Kumar Sinha has been selected.
After the landslide victory of NDA, posters have also been put up on the streets of Patna. It is written on one, “Thanks to the people of Bihar, now Bihar will become developed”.
