Pib on five hundred rupees circulation: The news of the closure of five hundred rupee notes has been continuously roaming the media corridor for the last one week. It was being said that the government can close it in the coming days. The guidelines of the RBI were being cited behind this, in which all the banks have been asked to increase the Rs 200 and 100 rupee notes in a sufficient number in the ATM. Because of this, everyone’s attention suddenly came to this on the 500 rupee note.
Now PIB’s fact check unit itself tweeted about this on social media X and said that a YouTube channel, named Capital TV, has shown the news of the closure of the note for 500 rupees.

PIB further said that there is no truth in this and it is completely fake. No such announcement has been made by the RBI and in the coming days, it will remain in circulation as now.

It is worth noting that ever since the RBI instructions have been given to increase the number of hundred rupees and two hundred rupees notes in the ATM, since then some experts have been assessing it according to their own. Some experts believe that gradually when the circulation of these notes will come in the market, then five hundred rupee notes can be extracted.
Apart from this, when the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu said that the central government should stop the note of five hundred rupees, after that he and the media headed and completely caught up.
