Piyush chawla retirement: Indian cricketer Piyush Chawla has announced his retirement from all formats of cricket. He played for Mumbai Indians last year. He also gave his name in the auction of IPL 2025 but was unsold. After the season was over, he shared a post announced to retire.
Piyush Chawla shared a note sharing the memorable moments of his cricket career. With this he wrote in the caption, “I am finishing this chapter! I am retiring from all the formats of the game, thank you all for support during this beautiful journey.”

Last year, Piyush, who was part of MI, also gave his name in the auction list for IPL season 18. His base price was 50 lakh rupees, but he was not bought by any team. He was unsold.
Talking about his IPL career, he has been playing for the first season. Piyush Kolkata Knight Riders, Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians, who started with the Punjab Kings team, were part of the team. He played a total of 192 matches, in which he took 192 wickets.

Piyush made his international debut in 2006. He played the first Test against England in Mohali on 9 March. After this, he made his ODI in 2007 and T20 in 2010. Piyush played 3 Tests, 25 ODIs and 7 T20 matches in his 6 -year cricket career. In this, his names were 7, 32 and 4 wickets respectively.
