Recently an incident happened in Florida which left people stunned. A plane was trying to make an emergency landing on the highway, but during landing it fell directly on top of a Toyota Camry. This entire incident was recorded in the dashcam of a car driving behind, which is now going viral on social media. This incident once again proved how strong and safe Toyota vehicles are.
Emergency landing after engine failure
- FAA i.e. Federal Aviation Administration said that this light aircraft named Beechcraft 55 started suffering from engine problem shortly after take off. The pilot radioed that both engines had failed and he would have to immediately make an emergency landing on Highway I-95. The pilot tried his best to save the drivers, but the plane lost its balance and ultimately fell on top of a 2023 Toyota Camry running on the highway.

The car saved the lives of the passengers even after the collision
- It is clearly seen in the video that the plane first hits the rear of the Camry, then climbs up breaking the roof and due to the absence of landing gear, it starts dragging on the road. The collision was so strong that the roof and rear part of the car broke badly. Despite this, the 57-year-old car driver suffered only minor injuries and was immediately taken to the hospital. The pilot and 27-year-old passenger present in the plane also survived safely. The video of motorist Jim Coffey, who recorded the footage, is the clearest record of this incident. Experts say that if the plane had landed a little lower on the driver’s side, the accident could have been even more serious.
