Schemes For Farmers: The central government is running many schemes for farmers. From which crores of farmers have got direct benefit till now. Today i.e. on October 11, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched new schemes worth more than Rs 42000 crore to further strengthen the agriculture sector. These include two big projects. Prime Minister Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana and self-reliance mission in pulses.
Through these schemes, emphasis will be laid on increasing farming productivity, encouraging crop diversification, adopting sustainable farming methods, improving storage and irrigation facilities. Along with this, big steps will also be taken in the direction of providing loans to farmers at affordable rates. Know how farmers can avail the benefits of these schemes.
This is how you will get benefit under PM Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana
The PM Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana being launched today is being considered a big step for the farmers. Rs 24000 crore will be spent on this scheme. So that farming can be made more productive and sustainable. Its objective is to increase agricultural output, motivate farmers to adopt new crops and improve storage facilities at the village level.

Under the scheme, irrigation systems will be strengthened in 100 districts. So that farmers do not face water problems. So along with this, they will be easily provided loans so that they can adopt modern farming techniques and increase their income.
Pulses self-reliance mission also started
Prime Minister Modi will also launch the Pulses Self-Reliance Mission today at a cost of Rs 11440 crore. The target of this mission is. To make the country completely self-reliant in the production of pulses. Under this, the focus will be on increasing the production of pulses, increasing the area of cultivation and strengthening the value chain from procurement to processing.

The government wants that farmers can earn more profit from pulses cultivation and the country has to depend less on imports. Through this mission, farmers will also get new technology, better seeds and training support so that they can increase both production and quality.
These schemes will also benefit
Apart from these schemes, PM Modi will inaugurate projects related to agriculture, dairy, fishery and food processing worth more than Rs 5450 crore. Along with this, the foundation of new projects worth Rs 815 crore will also be laid. Farmers will get new earning opportunities from these projects. The agriculture related sector will get the benefit of both technology and market, which will further strengthen the rural economy.
