Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Blind Women Team India on Thursday (27 November). This time the Indian women’s visually impaired team has won the first Blind T20 World Cup by defeating Nepal. PM Modi congratulated the players during his meeting. Along with this, he was also fed sweets. Prime Minister Narendra Modi posed for a photo with all the players and the World Cup trophy.

The players also gifted their signed bat to PM Modi. The Prime Minister put his signature on the ball. PM Met all the players one by one and heard stories related to the World Cup with them. All the players looked very comfortable with the PM. After the meeting, Prime Minister Modi fed sweets to all the players with his own hand.

Indian women’s visually impaired cricket team defeated Nepal by 7 wickets in the match played in Colombo on Sunday. After winning the toss, the Indian team had decided to field first. Nepal had scored 114 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs. The Indian team achieved the target in 12.1 overs and achieved a historic victory.

ODI World Cup was won this month

The Indian women’s cricket team won the ODI World Cup title for the first time by defeating South Africa on 2 November this month. Just 21 days after that victory, the visually impaired women’s cricket team winning the title shows India’s growing dominance in every category of cricket.

The Indian visually impaired team had defeated Australia in the semi-finals. Nepal team reached the final by defeating Pakistan. The Indian team did not lose a single match in this tournament. In the league matches, India defeated Sri Lanka by 10 wickets, Australia by 209 runs, Nepal by 85 runs, America by 10 wickets, Pakistan by 8 wickets.

After this, it won the title by defeating Australia by 9 wickets in the semi-finals and Nepal by 7 wickets in the final. The tournament started in India on 21 November. India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Australia and America took part in the tournament.
