PM Modi will reach the Ramanathswamy temple at 12.45 pm. Here he will visit and worship. Please tell that this temple is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva and is also included in the Char Dham pilgrimages. This temple is also associated with Lord Rama because here God established a Shivling to get rid of the sin of Brahma after Ravana slaughter. PM Modi has already worshiped in this temple once. His worship was done in Ayodhya before the life-prestige of the temple of Lord Rama.

Pambon Bridge will inaugurate

He will also give many gifts to Tamil Nadu before offering prayers at Ramanathaswamy temple. PM Modi will inaugurate the New Pamban Railway Bridge in Rameswaram. This bridge has been prepared at a cost of about Rs 700 crore. This is India’s first vertical lift sea bridge. It has 99 spans and 72.5 meters long vertical lift span. It can be raised up to a height of 17 meters to pass large water ships from below. Not only this, this bridge is designed for double rail tracks. The maximum speed of the train on the Pamban Bridge is 160 km per hour, but currently it has been kept 80 km per hour due to security reasons. At the same time, after strong winds, the traction system on the bridge will work smoothly. Apart from this, he will flag off a new train service between Rameswaram and Tambaram (Chennai).
