PM Modi praised Trump’s efforts for the release of Israeli hostages, said this for Netanyahu


Expressing happiness over the release of Israeli hostages, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has praised US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. PM Modi described the freedom of the hostages, who were held captive for more than two years, as the result of the courage of their families, the peace efforts of US President Donald Trump and the determination of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.

He wrote on X- ‘Their freedom is a symbol of the courage of their families, President Trump’s continuous peace efforts and Prime Minister Netanyahu’s strong resolve. We support President Trump’s sincere efforts to bring peace to the region.

Freedom from Hamas captivity after 738 days
After a long wait, Hamas has finally released 20 Israeli hostages after 738 days of captivity. This release was carried out in two phases – 7 people were released in the first phase and 13 people were released in the second. After some time, Israel’s Foreign Ministry shared pictures of the released hostages, in which they were seen meeting soldiers and spending emotional moments.

Trump’s meeting in Tel Aviv
US President Donald Trump met in Tel Aviv with families whose relatives were either hostage or killed. After this he addressed the Israeli Parliament (Knesset). Trump said, ‘After two difficult years, 20 courageous hostages have returned to their families. The guns have now fallen silent and a new dawn has begun. This is not the end of the war, but the beginning of a new era.

Netanyahu said- ‘The enemies have now understood our strength’
After the release of the hostages, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in Parliament that Israel has paid a heavy price for this war, but now it must have become clear to the enemies how strong and determined the country is. He said, ‘The attack on Israel on October 7 was a big mistake. Now they must have understood that Israel will stand firm.

The release is considered a turning point
The release of 20 hostages is being considered a major humanitarian and political turning point in the two-year-long conflict. This move could give a new direction to peace efforts in the region and is creating an emotional atmosphere within Israel. Families described the return of their loved ones as a ‘miracle moment’.
