There is a possible turn in the Gaza struggle. In fact, on Friday (October 03), Hamas announced that he is ready to accept parts of US President Donald Trump’s Gaza peace proposal and has also proposed to release the hostages. This step is not only considered important in the regional political scenario, but mixed feelings are also being seen in the world.

After this announcement, the international community has reacted to this. From PM Modi to Macron, everyone has welcomed this decision. Other global leaders and institutions have also described this initiative of Hamas as welcome, but at the same time they have urged all the parties to take restraint and take forward the peace process.

Trump welcomed Hamas’s response

President Donald Trump welcomed Hamas’s response and pressured Israel to accept the ceasefire. Trump said on his social platform Truth Social that he is confident that Hamas is “ready for permanent peace” and urged Israel to stop the bombing in Gaza immediately, so that the hostages could be safely and quickly released. He also told that the conversation has already started at some points which need to be solved. Trump said, “It is not only about Gaza, but it is for a long -want peace in the Middle East.”

PM Modi wrote on X, “We welcome the leadership of US President Trump, as Gaza shows decisive progress in peace efforts. The signs of the release of the hostages can be seen as an important step. India will continue to support all efforts, which are working towards a permanent and justified peace.”

France

French President Emmanuel Macron immediately reacted to Hamas’s announcement. He said that the release of Israeli hostages and the ceasefire in Gaza are “within possible”. Macron wrote on social media, “Now we have an opportunity to make decisive progress towards peace.” He also thanked Trump’s efforts. He further stated that France will play a full role with the US, Israel, Palestinian and other international partners in accordance with its efforts in the United Nations.

United Nations

United Nations General Secretary Antonio Guterres has appealed to all the parties to end this tragic struggle in Gaza. His spokesperson said that Guterres also thanked for the mediation of Qatar and Egypt. Spokesperson Stephen Dujarik said that Guterres also re -appealed for immediate and permanent ceasefire, unconditional release of all hostages and complete access for humanitarian aid. He said, “The United Nations will support all efforts to achieve these goals so that more pain can be stopped.”

United kingdom

UK Prime Minister Kir Starmer reacted to Hamas to accept the American Peace Plan and called it a “important step”. He wrote on X, “Hamas is a significant progress to accept the American peace proposal.”

Qatar’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson welcomed Hamas’s announcement and said that Qatar has started coordinating with the mediat Egypt and the US to continue negotiations to end the war on US President Trump’s Gaza Yojana. The spokesperson said, “Qatar, Hamas’s President Trump’s plan and welcomes the readiness to release all the hostages under the mortgage exchange structure mentioned in the plan.” He further said, “We also support the President’s appeal for the immediate ceasefire for safe and early release of hostages, so that the bloodshed on the Palestinians in Gaza Strip can be eliminated.”
