PM Modi expressed his gratitude for the support of Cyprus in India’s fight against cross-border terrorism. India and Cyprus have a friendly in the circumstances nor are it tied to boundaries. Extensive discussion between India and Cyprus about bilateral relations
PM Modi said, “After a long gap for two decades, an Indian Prime Minister is going to Cyprus.

For the prevention of smuggling of terrorism, drugs and arms, the real-time information exchange will be prepared between our agency. Mechanism will be prepared. We are excited to see the spread of yoga and Ayurveda in Cyprus. The emphasis will be on creating direct air connectivity. We have decided to work soon to complete the mobility agreement.

Prime Minister Modi said, “There is a similarity in our thoughts about the reforms required to make the UN contemporary. We are grateful to support India’s permanent membership in the Security Council on behalf of Cyprus.
He said, “Both of us believe that this is not an era of war, solution from dialogue and restoration of stability, it is a call of humanity. We also talked about increasing connectivity with the Mediterranean Sea region. We agree that India-Midil East-Europe Economic Corridor will pave the way for peace and prosperity in the region.”
