Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju has released a video related to the uproar in the Lok Sabha Speaker’s chamber. He said that Congress MPs illegally made a video clip in the Speaker’s room, in which 20 to 25 Congress MPs are entering the Lok Sabha Speaker’s chamber, abusing him and threatening Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Rijiju said, his party (BJP) believes in debate and discussion in the House and does not encourage MPs to threaten them.

Earlier on Wednesday (February 11) also, Rijiju had targeted Congress on this issue. Speaking to ANI, the Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister said, “About 20 to 25 MPs entered the Lok Sabha chamber and abused them, I was also present there. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla is a very simple person, otherwise very strict action would have been taken. Rijiju further said, all this happened when senior Congress leaders including Congress MPs Priyanka Gandhi and KC Venugopal were also present inside and they were instigating them to fight…”

What is the whole matter?
Some MPs had shot a video in the chamber of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, which was publicized in the media. The Speaker’s Chamber is considered a part of the House, any kind of video recording here is against the rules. Investigation is going on regarding the matter. It is being told that this video was made on 4th February. The issue of video making seems to be gaining momentum. Investigation is being done regarding the video shoot and strict action is being taken against the guilty MPs.
