PM Modi in Brasilia: In the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Lula, India and Brazil exchanged MUS on Tuesday (July 8, 2025). Brazilian President Lula Da Silva honored Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the ‘Grand Collar of the National Order of the Southern Cross’, Brazil’s highest civilian honor.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “I thank my friend President Lula for our warm welcome in Rio and Brazilia. Today, the President’s conflict with the highest national honor of Brazil today, not only for me, not only for me is a very emotional and proud moment for the whole country. For this, I express our gratitude from the heart of Brazilian government and Brazilian people.”
He said, “President Lula has played an important role in deepening our relations. In today’s discussions we talked about strengthening cooperation in every field. We aims to take $ 20 billion to bilateral trade in the coming five years.”
