PM Modi While Addressing Indian Community in Trinidad and Tobago said they left

PM Modi Visit Trinidad and Tobago: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a visit to 5 countries. After Ghana, PM Modi, who reached Trinidad and Tobago on Thursday (July 3, 2025), started his speech with Sitaram and Jai Shri Ram. He thanked Prime Minister Kamla Prasad Bisacer for the reception.

Addressing the Indian community, PM Modi said that I have come on this beautiful land some time ago, where the tweet of birds echoes and my first dialogue happened from the Indian community here. PM Modi said that it seems absolutely natural, because we are part of the same family. The journey of the Indian community in Trinidad and Tobago is full of courage. The circumstances that your ancestors faced would have broken the strongest souls as well, but they faced difficulties with hope.

‘They left their soil, but no salt’

PM Modi said that your ancestors faced problems firmly. He left Ganga and Yamuna behind, but took Ramayana in his heart. They left their soil, but not salt. He was not just a migrant, he was the messenger of an eternal civilization. His contribution has benefited this country cultural, economic and spiritually.

PM Modi said that since the last time I came, it has been 25 years since then. Our friendship has become even stronger. Banaras, Patna, Kolkata and Delhi may be cities in India, but the names of roads here are also. Navratri, Mahashivratri and Janmashtami are celebrated here with joy, gaiety and pride. I can see the warmth of many well-known faces here. I can see curiosity in the bright eyes of the younger generation, who are eager to know and grow together. Our relationships are spread far beyond geography and generations.

He said that it is a matter of respect for me to replicate the Ram temple in Ayodhya and bring some water of the Saryu river. PM Modi said that you all know that earlier this year was the world’s largest spiritual gathering Mahakumbh. I have got the privilege of taking the water of Mahakumbh with me. I request Kamala ji to offer holy water of Saryu River and Mahakumbh in the Ganges stream here.

‘Kamala ji’s ancestors used to live in Buxar in Bihar’

Prime Minister Modi said that Prime Minister Kamla ji’s ancestors used to live in Buxar in Bihar. Kamala ji herself has also come there. People consider them the daughter of Bihar. The ancestors of many people present here have come from Bihar itself. The legacy of Bihar is the pride of India as well as the world. There should be democracy, politics, diplomacy, higher education, Bihar had shown new directions in many such subjects to the world centuries ago. I am confident that even for the 21st century world, new motivations and new opportunities will come out from the land of Bihar.

‘Chanda Mama is not far away for us now’

PM Modi said that the time is no longer far when someone will reach the Indian moon and India will have its own space station. We do not just count the stars, Aditya try to go to him as a mission. Now Chanda Mama is not far away for us. We are also making impossible possible with our hard work.
