PM Modi will visit Japan before China

PM Modi had earlier visited China in 2019. Important issues like business cooperation, terrorism, regional security and multilateral cooperation will be discussed.

PM Modi is visiting China at a time when America is constantly threatening India to increase the tariff. US President Donald Trump has claimed that BRICS is weakening the country dollars.

Trump threatened BRICS countries

Trump said last month, “BRICS was established to harm us and weaken our dollar. If this group ever comes up in a strong way, it will end very soon. This group is now rapidly weakening. Stirring the status of dollar will be like losing a world war. We will not let the dollar fall.”

Relationships deteriorated after Galwan Valley

India lost 20 of its soldiers in a clash with Chinese soldiers on 15 June 2020 in the Galwan Valley of East Ladakh. During the Galwan clash, Indian soldiers retaliated without arms under the current protocol. In this, the Chinese army also suffered a lot of damage, but it never confessed to public damage. After this, relations between the two countries started deteriorating.
