Ajit Kumar Doval was born on 20 January 1945 in Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. 81 year old Doval is also called the Indian James Bond because his life of espionage and security is no less than film stories. He has been the National Security Advisor (NSA) of India since 2014 and is now serving his third term, the longest in India’s history.
Became a hero by stopping Hindu-Muslim riots
Ajit Doval’s father was an army officer and mother was the cousin of former UP Chief Minister and Congress leader Hemwanti Nandan Bahuguna. After studying at a military school and obtaining an economics degree from Agra University, Doval became an IPS from the Kerala cadre in 1968.
