Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Jordan’s capital Amman on a two-day official visit. Jordanian Prime Minister Jafar Hassan warmly welcomed PM Modi at the airport.
PM Modi has reached Amman on the invitation of Jordan’s King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein. During this visit, bilateral cooperation, regional issues and topics related to mutual interests are likely to be discussed between the two countries.

After reaching Amman, Prime Minister Modi wrote on social media platform X that he is happy to reach Jordan and is grateful to Prime Minister Jafar Hassan for the warm welcome he received at the airport.
PM Modi expressed confidence that this visit will further strengthen bilateral relations between India and Jordan. This visit of Prime Minister Modi is being considered important for giving a new direction to India-Jordan relations.

Bharatiya Pravasi Samiti member Sanal Kumar, while talking to IANS, said that he has been living in Jordan for the last 25 years and is associated with the textile business. He told that the share of Indians in Jordan’s textile industry is about 50 percent.
He said, ‘We are a billion dollar company and employ 35,000 people here, including 7,000 Jordanians and 6,000 Indians. This country is giving us an opportunity to do great business.
