Mohan Bhagwat Pok Statement, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat has described Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) as a room in India’s house, which others have captured.

He said that that room is part of India and will have to be withdrawn. Bhagwat was speaking at an event held in Satna, where people played loud applause on his statement.

Bhagwat said this

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat said, ‘Many Sindhi brothers are sitting here, I am very happy. He did not go to Pakistan, he belonged to undivided India. The situation sent us to this house, but those houses and these houses are not different. The whole of India is the same house, just a room in our house has taken possession. My tables, chair and clothes were kept there. Now the time will come when we have to take back the room.

There is protest in Pok

Bhagwat’s statement came at a time when people in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) have opened a front against Pakistani rule. For the last few days, thousands of local people have been on the streets under the banner of Awami Action Committee (AAC) and demanding economic relief and political reforms.

So far 10 people have died in the protests going on for three days, while more than 100 have been injured. Four protesters were shot dead by Pakistani security forces in Dhirkot (Bagh district). Apart from this, there have been reports of violence in Muazzafarabad, Dadayal (Mirpur) and Chamati (near Kohala).

‘India showed its courage and unity to the world’

Earlier on Thursday, Mohan Bhagwat had also emphasized the need to increase security capacity. He said that the international response to the Pahalgam terror attack showed who the true friends of India are.

He said, ‘This was an exam that who is with us on the global stage and how much supports us. The firm responding of India’s political leadership and the army proved the unity of the country, the fearlessness of leadership and the bravery of the army in front of the world.
