Rawalakot pok: There was a clash between the police and the rebels in Rawalkot in Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (POK). During this time 4 rebels have died. At the same time, 2 policemen have also lost their lives. The incident is from Hasankot area of Rawalot in POK, where firing took place between rebels and Rawalot police during the search operation of the local police. Apart from firing on the police, the rebels also threw bombs.
2 policemen died and 6 were injured due to rebel bombs. He is being treated in CMC Rawalkot. Among those who died in an encounter with the police are Jernosh Nasim and his companions, whom the government of Pakistan is calling terrorists. Last year itself, there was a protest all over Pakistan after the disappearance of Jernosh Nasim by the Pakistani Army.
The human rights activist was a journalist
The deceased Jernosh is the human rights activist of Nasim Pok and raised the issue of harassment and disappearing people in POK by the Pakistani Army and protested. In April this year, in POK, the Home Minister of the Pakistani government accused the Jernosh and his associates of involvement in terrorist activity and attacking the police a few months ago. However, Jernosh Naseem’s relationship with any terrorist organization has yet been established.
SSP Poonch told the whole matter
Poonch’s SSP Riyaz Mughal said, “According to the police of Poonch district of POK, in Rawalkot, the police had received information last night that Jernosh, his brother and other companions Hussain are hidden in the forest in Hussain Kot, which the police team arrived.” Because Jernosh is accused of two murder on his brother and other companions, as soon as the police arrived, his associates fired and threw a bomb at the police, in which 20 policemen were injured and 2 died.
