Treatment of injured in different hospitals
Please tell that a big accident took place on the evening of Friday (August 15) at the Patte Shah Dargah located behind the Humayun Tomb, Hazrat Nizamuddin area. After heavy rains, 10-12 people were buried in the debris due to the roof of two rooms of the dargah and a wall falling. Teams of police, fire brigade and NDRF took out 12 people by running a rescue operation, out of which 6 died. The dead include 3 men and 3 women. Many people are seriously injured and are undergoing treatment in different hospitals.

According to the information received from Delhi Police, at around 3:55 pm, the police received information through PCR call that the lease behind the Humayun mausoleum has fallen and people are trapped. SHO and local police reached the spot in five minutes and started removing debris with the local people. In a while, fire brigade, CATS ambulances and NDRF also reached the spot. The old and weak roof and wall collapsed due to rain. It is being told that the structure had become more weak due to the accumulation of rain water. At the time of the accident, many people came to offer prayers and pray at the dargah.

Woman dies for the first time
ABP News spoke to the deceased Anita Saini’s son Subhansh Saini who met outside the AIIMS Trauma Center in search of his mother. Subhansh Saini told that his mother Anita Saini died on the spot. He said, “Mummy went to the dargah for the first time and this incident happened.”
