Bihar, Central Selection Board (CSBC) has released the official notification for constable recruitment 2025. Under this recruitment campaign, a total of 4128 vacant posts including jail warder and mobile squad constable will be appointed. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online on the official website csbc.bihar.gov.in from 6 October 2025 to 5 November 2025.
The minimum educational qualification of the candidate for this recruitment is 12th pass. The age limit has been determined separately according to the post and class. Candidates are advised that before applying, read the complete information given in the notification carefully.
Age limit
For prohibition and mobile squad constable, the maximum age of the normal male has been fixed at 25 years, OBC/EBC Male 27 years, OBC/EBC Female 28 years and SC/ST Male and Female 30 years. For the post of Jail Warder, the age of the normal man can apply for 23 years, OBC/EBC Men 25 years, OBC/EBC female 26 years and SC/ST men and female for 28 years.
Selection process
Candidates will be selected in three stages. First of all, there will be a written test, in which questions related to general knowledge, regional, arithmetic and language will be asked. After this, there will be PET i.e. Physical Efficiency Test, in which the candidate’s fitness will be evaluated. In the final stage, there will be PST i.e. physical measurement examination, in which height, weight and chest measures will be taken.
Application fee will have to be paid so much
Candidates will have to pay the application fee for this recruitment. Candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 100 for the application.
Required documents
During the application, candidates will need 10th and 12th certificate, caste certificate (if applied), identity card, passport size photo and other prescribed documents.

After this, upload the document, pay the application fee and submit the form. Do not forget to take a print out after submitting the form.
