The state investigating agency (SIA) has raided the house of Yasin Malik, the head of the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front. On Monday (August 11), eight locations were raided in Srinagar. The case is of a 35 -year -old murder case, in which Kashmiri Pandit Nurse Sarla Bhatt was killed in the year 1990.

A team led by Deepti SP Abid Hussain searched the residence of Yasum SHO and an executive magistrate of Yasin Malik. Filgal Yasin Malik is lodged in Tihar Jail in New Delhi.

Agency in search of evidence
In this joint raid, many former JKLF leaders and colleagues have been targeted, so that evidence can be gathered and the order of incidents related to this murder in 1990 can be reopened. The murder took place during the peak of terrorism in the valley. Detailed information about the recovery of any item has not been revealed yet.

Sarla Bhat’s body was found sieve with bullets in 1990
Please tell here that on 18 April 1990, 27 -year -old Kashmiri Pandit nurses of Anantnag, Sarla Bhat, were kidnapped from Habba Khatoon Hostel of Skims Saura. The next morning, Sara Bhatt’s dead body was found lying with bullets in Omar Colony Mallabagh of Saura.

Who was Sarla Bhatt?
Sarla Bhatt was a nurse who chose to stay there even after leaving the valley by the people of the Kashmiri Pandit community. Sarla Bhatt, a resident of Anantnag, used to do duty at Sher-e-Kashmir Institute Ove Medical College (SKIMS) Srinagar. After the emergence of terrorism in Kashmir, she was one of the few Kashmiri Pandits who stayed in the valley itself.

When Sarla Bhatt was in the hostel at Schims, he was abducted by the militants as a police informer. After receiving his body, it was also felt that Sarla Bhatte was killed after torturing him.
