On completion of one year of government in Delhi, a program of Rekha Gupta government is being organized at Ram Leela Maidan. BJP national president Nitin Naveen is also present in it. During the program, CM Rekha Gupta said that power is not for us to enjoy pleasures but is a medium to serve the public.
The Chief Minister further said, “The day of February 8, 2025 was historic because on this day BJP MLAs completely cleared the way for government formation by winning 48 seats out of seventy in Delhi. And this Ram Leela Maidan is witness to many struggles and movements and this is the same Ram Leela Maidan where Anna movement took place and in this Ram Leela Maidan, I had sworn that I would not go into politics and would not take a car home.”
CM also said, “This Ram Leela Maidan brought him to power but Delhi’s Janata took him down and made the lotus bloom in Delhi. After 27 years, BJP government was formed in Delhi and from the same day the confidence of Delhi started growing and from the same day our 48 MLAs in Delhi started serving the public. All the pending problems of Delhi should be solved.”
He said that today’s program is also a big program in which 500 new e-buses are being dedicated to the public and by 2028, 14,000 buses will be seen running on the roads of Delhi. These buses will prove to be very helpful in solving the environmental problems of Delhi. We are expanding the metro and we have fixed a budget of Rs 5,000 crore for Delhi Metro.
