Government gives a loan of up to 20 lakhs
In this scheme of the government, financial assistance is provided to small and micro industries in the non-revolutionary sector. Earlier, under the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, the government used to give loans of up to Rs 10 lakh to small businessmen and young entrepreneurs, which has now been increased to Rs 20 lakh.
Government gives three types of loans
The government gives three types of loans under the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana. These include infant categories, adolescent categories and Tarun category. If we talk about the baby category, then the government provides a loan of up to 50 thousand rupees. While a loan of Rs 50 thousand to Rs 5 lakh is given for adolescent category. Apart from this, a loan of 5 lakh to 10 lakh is available under Tarun category. Let us also tell you here that in Tarun category, they get a loan of up to 20 lakh rupees, who have already taken a loan and repaid it.
How to apply?
Applications for Pradhan Mantri Mudra Loan Scheme can apply both online and offline. To apply online, you have to go to the official portal www.udyamimitra.in.
You can go to any bank or NBFC or MFI’s nearest branch to apply offline. For this, a recent utility bill for an identity card or residential proof like Aadhaar card, PAN card, vote card, driving license or passport. Business name, registration, registration date etc. are required as a business certificate.
