Prashant Kishore, founder of Jan Suraj, had made many big claims before the Bihar Assembly elections (2025). There was even talk of forming the government with full majority but after the results the party was out on zero. Now Prashant Kishor is churning about defeat. Going to different districts and meeting the workers. Meanwhile, a video of him is going viral on social media in which he is saying that he did not get as many votes as the number of people who took photographs with him.
It is not clear where the viral video is from. In the video, Prashant Kishor is seen talking to the workers. He says, “Who has the proof that who is working honestly? We did not get as many votes as the number of people who took photos with us and everyone is saying that brother, only we did it and others did not. Those things have no meaning.”
Prashant Kishore attacked NDA
On the other hand, Prashant Kishore reached Begusarai last Tuesday (February 17, 2026). During this, he attacked the NDA government regarding liquor ban and increasing crime in Bihar. He also informed the public about the election of NDA government. Prashant Kishore said that if liquor ban is empowering women then it should be implemented in the entire country.
Prashant Kishore told the media that Jan Suraj worked with a strategy for three years. The public voted for him by nearly 18 lakh votes and elected him for service, not for leaving Bihar. They are following public orders.
‘…then the government will follow the agenda of NDA’
Prashant Kishore said that for the last three years, only one thing has been explained by Jan Suraj that you will reap what you sow. If you choose NDA then the government will run on the agenda of NDA only. NDA’s agenda is clear, the whole country is watching it.
On the death of NEET student, Prashant Kishore said that the police first declared it a suicide. Refused to consider it murder. The government woke up to this matter only when it met the family members of the victim. SIT was formed. After this two police officers were suspended.
